Circle A Ranch has been in operation for over 30 years. Our program is based on teaching the principles of Dynamic Living to young people - principles like goal-setting, self-esteem, leadership, teamwork, and excellence. In addition to helping kids learn how to live happier, more productive lives, Circle A also gives them a wonderful chance to make friends and have fun in a safe and positive environment.
Circle A boasts a beautiful campus equipped with many facilities that make camp life fun. The highlight for many of the Circle A experience is the horseback riding program. Over 15 horses, along with riding arenas, trails, barns, and highly qualified instructors, give campers the chance to enjoy horseback riding, no matter what their skill level. The athletic program is also excellent. The campus’s tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer field, volleyball court, softball field, swimming pool, and canoeing pond allow many different activities for campers of varying interests. Additional activities include music, drama, arts and crafts, video production, team building, ultimate frisbee, hayrides, talent shows, and much more. The program also includes excursions to the beach at Lake Michigan and a canoe trip down the Rogue River.
Circle A also employs an impressive staff of Leadership Team members each summer. These leaders are picked from all over the country, specifically because of their ability to be examples to today’s youth. A wide variety of athletic and artistic expertise is represented, and each individual is highly intelligent, highly motivated, and highly trained to take care of the campers at Circle A.
Skip Ross is the owner, founder, and director of Circle A Ranch. He and his wife Susan have dedicated their lives to making a difference through this ministry, and have spent the last 30 years giving their summers to the work of Circle A. Skip is the author of the Dynamic Living Seminar, so he is the instructor that the campers will learn from each day. His communicative skills and speaking expertise are truly excellent.
